Westmoreland Chapter President

This individual should be a prominent and influential citizen who is interested in the chapter, familiar with the aims and objectives of the Army and AUSA, and who will devote the necessary time and energy to provide the leadership necessary to run the chapter. As the principal chapter executive, the president presides at the general membership meetings and at the meetings of the Executive Committee. The president is responsible for insuring a sound organization, an effective chapter program, and ensuring that all policies are followed. This person is also responsible for appointing any non-elected officers and committee chairpersons. Where possible, the President should serve no more than four years in order to build a bench of chapter leaders.
